Your workspace in WhatGHL

This guide describes what you typically see in the app: menus, dashboard, sub-accounts, and agencies. If something you need is missing, contact whoever set up your WhatGHL access.

Placeholder — replace with a screenshot of the menus described below.

The menu usually includes:

SectionPurpose
DashboardSummary of your operation: accounts, sessions, metrics, and charts when applicable.
Sub AccountsList and detail of sub-accounts (GHL locations) you can access.
AgenciesLinked GHL agencies; connect, review status, and options the screen allows.

Users and Coupons usually do not appear in the menu. If you open those URLs directly, the app may send you back to the Dashboard or show that the page is not available.

Screens that are usually outside your day-to-day flow

  • Admin-style area (/admin/...): platform-wide stats, system logs, and similar tools — not part of the standard menu.
  • User management (/users).
  • Coupons (/coupons).
  • In Sub Accounts, you normally work with your locations; a single list of every sub-account in the organization, an Owner column, or a New Account button on a global list may not appear, depending on how your access was set up.
  • The technical Heartbeat field in the session list may be hidden.

None of this stops you from working on your sub-accounts: importing locations from GHL, opening detail, WhatsApp sessions, and billing shown on screen, according to your organization’s setup.

Dashboard

Your dashboard is focused on your agency and sub-accounts, not organization-wide platform totals.

It typically includes:

  • Cards for accounts, connected, total sessions, and active sessions.
  • Metrics such as revenue or messages (when data exists for your account).
  • Charts by period (e.g. 7 / 30 / 90 days): messages per sub-account, revenue, billing-mode distribution, when there is data.
  • Recent transactions and invoice links when the system offers them.
  • Shortcuts toward Sub Accounts or other areas you use often.

Very broad organization-wide totals—if your account can see them—are usually on separate screens, not on your dashboard.

When you return to the browser tab, data may refresh in the background without showing the full loading state again.

Sub Accounts

List

  • The wording on the page reflects that you manage your GoHighLevel integrations.
  • You can search sub-accounts, import locations from GHL when the button is available, and expand rows to see sessions and actions.
  • Import and working in detail are the main flow when manual “new account” creation is not shown.

Sub-account detail

Use the tabs described in Sub-account settings tabs: WhatsApp, AI & translation, voice, GHL connection, billing, notifications, groups, etc.

Some sensitive fields may be read-only or hidden. If something cannot be edited, it follows your organization’s settings.

WhatsApp sessions and payments

If your organization allows buying extra sessions or Stripe payments, those flows usually start from the sub-account or from links in the UI. You do not need a Coupons screen to benefit from a discount that was already applied; creating coupons is handled elsewhere in the product.

Agencies

You can link an agency with the GHL OAuth flow (allow pop-ups), see status, subscription, or billing data the screen shows, and adjust embedded options (onboarding, paywall, copy) only if the UI offers them.

Profile, theme, and notifications

  • Profile: from your name in the sidebar you can edit profile details when available.
  • Light / dark theme: toggle at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • Email notifications on the sub-account (Notifications tab): configuration and test send, as in the sub-account guide.
  • In-app notifications (bell icon) may be used for operational messages.

Inside GoHighLevel (embedded)

If you open WhatGHL inside GHL, the context is usually limited to the active agency or location. See also Embedded use in GoHighLevel.
