GoHighLevel integration

WhatGHL uses official GoHighLevel authorization to access your agency and location data only with the permissions you approve in GHL.

What connecting the agency means

  • The app can sync locations as sub-accounts and coordinate messaging and data shown in the dashboard.
  • Sign in to GHL only in the provider’s authorization window; do not share your password through other channels.

Where to manage it in the app

  • Onboarding: first connection (usually opens a provider pop-up).
  • Agencies: linked agencies and option to connect a new one.
  • Sub-account detail → Connection: link status for the location and refresh/reconnect actions when applicable.

Good practices

  • Use a GHL user that can authorize apps.
  • If you revoke the app in GHL, you will need to connect again from WhatGHL.

For use inside GHL (iframe), see Embedded use in GHL.

To control routing, interactive WhatsApp messages, and internal-only notes from the GHL composer, see Message codes from GoHighLevel.
