Embedded in GoHighLevel

Your organization may open WhatGHL inside GoHighLevel (custom menu link or similar) so users never leave the GHL chrome. The app detects embedded context and can limit navigation to the active agency or location.

Entry experience

The first load may show:

  • Paywall or subscription checks configured by the agency.
  • Onboarding or sign-in steps.
  • Direct entry to dashboard or sub-accounts when SSO/session already exists.

Pop-ups must often be allowed for OAuth or payment steps even inside the iframe.

Day-to-day use

  • Dashboard, Sub Accounts, and Agencies behave like the standalone web app but may be scoped (for example one sub-account only).
  • Deep links from GHL should land in the same browser session; if cookies are blocked, the frame may look logged out.

When the frame misbehaves

  • Reload the GHL tab or reopen the custom menu item.
  • Try a private window without extensions to rule out blockers.
  • Confirm the GHL session has not expired.
